Can I get a fishing licenses at SBR?
No, you can't get a physical fishing license at Silver Beach. But you can get one over the phone or online with your credit card and they will give you your license number and you can start fishing right away!

Is there cell service or Wi-Fi?
We are definitely in the wilderness which means it is hard to get a signal. Cell service is not very good. Verizon and US Cellular get SOME service but it is very spotty.
We have a Wi-Fi signal from the Store and from the Motel. However it is only for texts, emails and calls. It is not Fast enough for streaming. We do not guarantee any Wi-Fi, it is complimentary. There is no expectation of Wi-Fi in the campground, Cabins or Rental RV's. Lack of Wi-Fi is not a reason to receive a reimbursement from us, it's complimentary and only available in the common areas. We have a Wi-Fi signal at the convenience store and at the Motel, it is not guaranteed by us, we are in the mountains and subject to Satellite internet, which is slow and spotty.
Do you have any boat rentals?
We do not have any boats with a motor at Silver Beach. We do rent kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, and canoes upon availability and weather conditions.
Pricing for kayaks and paddle boards are $25/hour
Pricing for canoes are $35/hour, Life Jackets are $5
Do you have laundry facilities?
We do not have any laundry facilities at SBR. The closest place would be at the Cracker Barrel 9 miles to the west or in Naches.
What's the earliest i can book a spot?
You can make a reservation one year in advance from the date you are trying to book.
What if I want to come for the day and not camp?
You can come in to use all of our facilities for $15/vehicle "day use" pass. You can also Launch a boat and park your trailer for the day for $25. It is first come, first serve, there is limited parking on Saturdays and Sundays in peek months. You will need to stop in the office to get a car pass. There will be no vehicles allowed inside at Silver Beach without a car pass.
Are there showers available?
There are pay showers that take quarters, located in the rear of the main building.
How do I know if there is a fire ban in effect?
You can check https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/okawen/alerts-notices/?cid=fsbdev3_053600 to see the latest fire restrictions. Sometimes it does not effect us, so check our Facebook page, we will have a no campfires posted if they are not allowed.
